I have to be honest, I am LOVING the Featured Artist section of this site. I hope you’re all digging it, too! This week the spotlight shines brightly on Pangea:

Pangaea is a psychedelic pop artist who has utilized their florid synaesthesia, and love of Hannibal’s unique storytelling and visuals to create fanworks for the show for several years. Pangaea creates comics and illustrations in Washington DC, and vends at local cons whenever they can.

The Mind Palace creators are headed to PROM!

Before Santiago and I decided to build the home that is Mind Palace, we worked on an original story called PROM OF THE DEAD, which is the first in a planned trilogy of SPORES graphic novels.

Set in the halls of the Pineview Academy, a fictional private school in Upstate New York, the story follows its students during a “zombie” outbreak. A spore with properties similar to Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis infects them one by one, turning them into mindless drones, slaves to a hive mind. As the outbreak spreads rapidly through the school at the celebration, it’s clear to everyone that no one is getting out alive.

Featured Artist: Alissa S.

One of the really awesome things about doing a webcomic like Mind Palace is the exposure to other artists and fans of Bryan’s work. I’ve been meaning to create a “weekend spotlight” on some of the awesome work I’ve seen, but life has sort of gotten in the way.  While I still plan on developing that idea a bit, I’ve decided to just post whenever I get the chance so, without further delay, here’s our first featured artist, Alissa S., and here super clever, super beautiful Hannibal/Moon print!
