Featured Artist: Beatrice
Hey hey! We hope you’re all enjoying this season of Mind Palace! It’s be a while, but we are proud to to present this month’s featured artist, Beatrice! Say hello, Bea!
Hello! My name is Beatrice and I’m an artist from Sweden. I draw silly comics about Hannibal’s Instagram, art based on canon as well as alternative universes, and for the past year I have also been drawing a dark fairytale based on Hannibal’s relationship with Will. Folklore has always been a source of inspiration for me and I love bringing little bits and pieces of the Swedish fairytales I grew up with into the world of Hannibal, combining them with influences from other folklore traditions.
Before Hannibal I had never drawn fanart – what made me want to start is the fact that Fuller’s Hannibal is so full of gorgeous imagery and characterizations. And the fandom is such a wonderfully creative space, being part of it has helped me grow so much as an artist.
